Among Invisible Strings is a site-specific work made for M HKA in Antwerpen, Belgium. It uses the inbedded movement of the stairs to infiltrate the space. A sliding wooden object on a metal tube was installed on the already existing metal railing. The object was connected through strings to another object in the space the stairs were leading to, invisible from the stairs. If the general don’t touch-rule of museums was disregarded and there was an interaction with the wooden object, the second object would reveal this interaction by moving.
