My work is based on the notion of sensing space. With a playful and minimalistic manner, I stage scenarios focusing on collaborations and dependences between the, present or absent, creator (me) and her (my) objects. The objects are adapted to me, by obtaining my personal dimensions and/ or movements. I am interested in how body language/ usage finds its pattern and how that is reflected in environments, curious of the relationship between naturally universal and culturally specific.
Trained as an architect, I was taught to see the world from above. To represent it through abstractions and express atmospheres through artistic techniques in a scale for my hands. In the process of becoming, I started to doubt that that was taken for granted. I turned my interest from the general to the specific, with a need to feel and communicate through space.
